On June 15th 2008, the summer celebration, a 40 years old tradition took place at Skypark Airport.

Hundreds of people of all ages gathered at the airfield to celebrate and honour local hero and Skypark graduate Nasa astronaut Mike Foreman.

Spot landings, bomb drops, visits in the Nasa bus, kids games and many other activities took place at the airfield.
