Save on car rental!! Have you ever thought of your mobility issues when receiving flight training in the U.S.? The shuttle service is provided as follows: For pilots staying at one of the accommodations on the airport: 1 x Pick-up at Cleveland International 1 x Drive to the Cleveland FSDO to get your FAA license 3 x weekly to the stores & restaurants area in Wadsworth (Walmart, etc...) 1 x Drop-off at Cleveland International For pilots staying at the Legacy Inn (about 200 meters from the Wadsworth stores & restaurants area): 1 x Pick-up at Cleveland International 1 x Drive to the Cleveland FSDO to get your FAA license 1 x Daily pick-up at the hotel at a pre-arranged time 1 x Daily drop-off at the hotel at a pre-arranged time 1 x Drop-off at Cleveland International

If time building pilots have a particular need for car rental, an Enterprise car rental agency is available in Wadsworth.

Car rental is expensive in the U.S. as many agencies apply a 25$/day under age fee for drivers 21-24 years old and a 20$/day insurance coverage charge on top of the rental for damage on the rented vehicle to all renters. NCB-AVIATION strongly recommends international pilots enrolling either its FAA Part 141 or JAA/EASA program at Akron Fulton Airport to buy a car for the length of their stay. Though it may sound like a big investment, the savings over the car rental are in the 1000$/month range.
